Trust Requests
Trust Requests let fans pay you for direct verification of suspicious content. It's Cameo for trust — fans submit a question, you respond with Confirmed, Denied, or Unable to Determine, and you earn money for every definitive answer.
Pro feature
How It Works
- A fan sees something suspicious — maybe a DM claiming to be you, a giveaway they're unsure about, or a sketchy endorsement
- They go to
unafonte.com/<your-username>and click Request Trust Check - They pick a pricing tier (faster responses cost more), write their question, and attach screenshots or links
- Their card is authorized but not charged yet — the hold is placed until you respond
- You get an email notification and respond from your dashboard
- Based on your response, the payment is captured (Confirmed or Denied) or released (Unable to Determine)
Pricing Tiers
You set your own tiers with prices between $1 and $100. Default tiers are:
- Standard — $1, response within 72 hours
- Priority — $3, response within 24 hours
- Urgent — $5, same day response
You can customize tier names, prices, response times, and descriptions. Disable tiers you don't want to offer.

The Three Responses
- Confirmed Authentic — Yes, that's really me or really my content. Payment is captured.
- Denied / Scam — No, that's not me or not authorized. Payment is captured.
- Unable to Determine — Not enough information to answer definitively. Payment hold is released, fan is not charged.
You only get paid for definitive answers
The Economics
Trust Requests use an 80/20 split — you keep 80%, UnaFonte takes 20%. Processing fees are passed through to the fan, so your 80% is the full creator share.
Expiration
Requests auto-expire after 7 days if you don't respond. The payment hold is released automatically and the request closes. You'll get a reminder email at the 75% mark (~5 days in) to give you time to respond.
Auto-Posting to Your Ledger
When you respond with Confirmed or Denied, UnaFonte can automatically create a Trust Request Resolution entry in your Active Ledger. This turns your private responses into public signals — now anyone querying "Is @brand really working with Dan?" gets the answer even if they didn't pay for verification.
This feature is on by default. Toggle it in Dashboard → Trust Requests → Settings.
Vacation Mode
Going offline? Enable vacation mode in your trust request settings. New requests will be blocked with a message explaining when you'll be back. Existing requests still work as normal.
