Getting Started
Creating an UnaFonte account takes about two minutes. You'll need a valid email address, a government-issued ID, and a $3 verification fee. Here's exactly what to do.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Head to unafonte.com/signup and enter your email, a password, and the username you want to claim. Usernames are first-come, first-served and become your permanent profile URL at unafonte.com/<username>.
Choose your username carefully
Username rules
- 3 to 20 characters
- Letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens only
- Cannot start or end with a symbol
- Case-insensitive (Dan and dan are the same)
Step 2: Confirm Your Email
After signup, check your inbox for a confirmation link from noreply@unafonte.com. Click it to verify your email address. If you don't see it within 60 seconds, check your spam folder.
Step 3: Pay the Verification Fee
UnaFonte charges a one-time $3 verification fee. This covers the cost of Stripe Identity (the gov ID verification provider) plus a small buffer. This fee is what makes UnaFonte different from free verification services — every profile on UnaFonte has proven a real human stands behind it.
Why $3?
Step 4: Start Verification
Once payment completes, you'll be redirected to Stripe's identity verification flow. You'll need:
- A government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID card)
- A smartphone or webcam for the selfie check
- About 3 minutes of uninterrupted time
